Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions serve as the contract between the customer and Meringue Me. By paying the invoice, the customer is agreeing to the these terms and conditions. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Allergens
While we can do our best to accommodate your request we want to make sure you have all the info so you can make the right decision for yourself and your health. We do offer gluten-free products but we are NOT a gluten-free bakery. While we can make a cake that doesn't have gluten in the ingredients there is gluten present in the kitchen and air. We take great care to prepare items gluten-free but we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
The same goes for other common allergens including but not limited to: all nuts, eggs, dairy, corn & fruits. We have a wide variety of flavors on our menus and work with a wide variety of products in our kitchen.
Payment Policy
Party cakes require full payment 1 week prior to event or order will be paused and spot will no longer be secure. Orders totaling more than $300 require $100 non-refundable deposit to secure date. Deposit does go towards final cost.
Wedding/Specialty Cakes require $150 non-refundable deposit to secure the date. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event or order will be cancelled. Deposit does go toward final cost.
Design Elements & Style
Images used for mood boards or examples will be taken into consideration, however please understand that exact replicas are not possible as this is my interpretation and individual art.
Cancellations
As a small business it is hard to cancel the work I can not reuse. Let’s chat about the issues you have and we can work something out together.
Refunds
For cancellations with more than 2 weeks notice before completion; any payment aside from deposit will be refunded. No refunds will be permitted for no-show pick ups or if given the wrong date/time/location for delivery.
Wedding/Specialty deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable. Any orders cancelled 4 weeks prior to your event date will receive only a 50% refund on any payments made after the deposit. Any specialty cake order cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to your event date will receive a no refunds on any payments made after the deposit.
